About Edge Connect
A small training practice in Blue Knob devoted to candlestick pattern recognition — measured, patient, and chart-first.
Why the practice exists
Edge Connect began when a handful of chart readers in northern New South Wales grew tired of pattern books that never checked a wick against a ruler. The practice opened as a place to sit with printed bars, name what is actually there, and leave forced labels off the page.
We teach technical analysis through candlestick pattern recognition because candle language is concrete: bodies have length, wicks have proportion, and sequences either meet published criteria or they do not. That clarity matters more to us than covering every indicator on a desk.
How we work
Sessions stay small. Instructors mark charts alongside participants, not from a distant podium. Contested formations are left contested until the room agrees on the measurements. Australian cash hours shape our timetable; remote participants join on the same Eastern clock.
Who teaches
Instruction is led by practitioners who have spent years annotating daily and hourly candles across ASX equities, major FX pairs, and index futures. Credentials in this field are earned in the notebook: consistent labelling under review, not a framed promise of market foresight.
Values in the room
- Measurement before opinion
- Refusal to rename a candle to fit a preferred story
- Respect for the timeframes each participant actually watches
- Quiet study days over theatrical market commentary
