Preparing charts for a workshop day
What to print, what to leave blank, and why unmarked sheets teach more than pre-labelled ones.
Participants sometimes arrive with charts already covered in arrows and pattern names. Kind impulse — poor preparation. The workshop needs clean bars so the room can argue from the same unmarked evidence.
What to bring
- Two instruments you actually watch (for many locals that means an ASX name plus a liquid FX pair or index)
- At least sixty sessions on each, daily or the interval you use most
- Printed sheets large enough to write beside the candles; phone screens tire the group
Leave labels off. Circle nothing. If you use a platform export, choose a simple candle view without overlay indicators for the workshop prints.
What we provide
Pattern criteria sheets, pencils, and rulers for body-to-wick checks. In-person days include tea and a light midday meal. Remote participants receive the same PDF packs in advance.
The night before
Sleep matters more than rereading a pattern encyclopaedia. Skim your instruments once so the shapes feel familiar, then stop. Day one opens with silent marking; fresh eyes beat exhausted certainty.
When you enquire about an intake, tell us your two instruments so we can seat people with overlapping chart interests when possible.
